You are invited to view a free screening of “This Might Hurt,”
the documentary following the lives of real people who learn how to unlearn chronic pain.
The Red Willow Learning Center has initiated this community event that is open to all and recommended for people living with pain, their loved ones and everyone involved in their physical and mental health care. You can view the film and participate in a live Q&A session where you can ask questions about pain.
The film will be available to view from Sept. 14 – 28. You can access at this link:

The Q&A session will be hosted by Dr. Becca Kennedy, MD and director Kent Bassett on Sept. 21, 6-7pm Mountain Time. (Find the time in your time zone here: https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/)
Whether you are a person living with pain or a health care practitioner helping people with pain, this film should give you a lot of insight into how pain works and ways you can turn it down.
If you want to learn more about how you can educate your patients
about pain and develop evidence-based strategies to help them along the road to management and recovery, join us for the upcoming classes. Health care practitioners of many different domains can help people with pain, because pain is never just about the body. By gaining a deeper, up-to-date understanding of persistent pain, you’ll be better equipped to help those living with pain make sense of their pain, discover what contributes to it, and turn it down.
